What happens if I arrive early or late for my booked departure?

Your check-in flexibility depends on your ticket type and booking date. Below are the check-in guidelines based on your ticket category.

Bookings made from March 5, 2025

Daytrip/Overnight Ticket

  • Arrival Window: Check-in at least 1 hour but no more than 4 hours before departure.

  • Early Arrival: Your ticket is valid only for the booked departure. If you arrive more than 1 hour early, you will not be accommodated on an earlier departure.

  • Late Arrival: If you arrive less than 1 hour before departure or later, your ticket will be void. A new ticket must be purchased for travel.

  • Failure to travel on the outward crossing will invalidate the return crossing.

Short Stay Saver Ticket

  • Arrival Window: Check-in at least 1 hour but no more than 4 hours before departure.

  • Early Arrival: If you arrive more than 1 hour early, you may be accommodated on an earlier departure, subject to availability, an amendment fee, and any fare difference.

  • Arrival Within Flexibility Period: If you arrive up to 1 hour before or up to 1 hour after your booked departure, your booking will be exchanged for the next available departure, subject to availability. Same-day travel is not guaranteed.

  • Late Arrival: If you arrive more than 1 hour late, your ticket will be void, and a new ticket must be purchased.

Standard Ticket

    • Check-in must be completed by 23:59 on your booked date. If not, your ticket becomes void, invalidating your return journey.

    • A new return ticket must be purchased, with no refunds or credits provided.

  • Return Departure:

    • Only valid if the outward journey has been used.

    • Your ticket is valid for travel anytime on your booked date.

    • You will be allocated the next available departure upon arrival.

    • Check-in must be completed by 23:59 on your booked date. If not, your ticket becomes void.

    • A new ticket must be purchased, with no refunds or credits provided.

Flexiplus Ticket

  • Outward Departure:

    • Your ticket is valid for travel anytime on your booked date.

    • You will be allocated the next available departure upon arrival.

    • Check-in must be completed by 23:59 on your booked date. If not, your ticket becomes void. However, your return booking remains valid.

    • A new ticket must be purchased, with no refunds or credits provided.

  • Return Departure:

    • Your ticket is valid for travel anytime on your booked date.

    • You will be allocated the next available departure upon arrival.

    • Check-in must be completed by 23:59 on your booked date. If not, your ticket becomes void.

    • A new ticket must be purchased, with no refunds or credits provided.

Bookings made before March 5, 2025

Daytrip & Overnight Ticket

  • Arrival Window: Passengers must check in at least one hour before departure but no more than four hours prior.
  • Early Arrival: If you arrive within two hours of your originally booked departure time, you may exchange your booking at no extra cost, subject to availability. Arriving earlier than this will incur a fee.
  • Late Arrival:
    • If you arrive within two hours after your booked departure time, your ticket will be exchanged free of charge, subject to availability.
    • If you arrive more than two hours but within 24 hours of your booked departure time for your outward journey, you may exchange your ticket by paying the fare difference between your original booking and the new departure. All amendments are subject to availability.
    • For same-day return bookings, if you return more than two hours but within 24 hours after your outbound departure, your return ticket may be exchanged upon payment of any fare difference. All amendments are subject to availability.
    • For two-day return bookings, if you return after midnight on the second day, your return ticket will not be eligible for exchange.

Short Stay Saver Ticket

  • Upon arrival, you will be allocated the next available departure.
  • If you return after midnight on the fifth calendar day following your outbound departure, your return ticket cannot be exchanged.

  • Your ticket remains valid for one year from the date of purchase.
  • Upon arrival, you will be allocated the next available departure.
