New Restrictions on Meat and Dairy Imports

To combat the spread of foot and mouth disease (FMD) amid rising cases across Europe, the UK Government has implemented new measures. Starting from Saturday, 12th April 2025, travellers will be prohibited from bringing cattle, sheep, goat, and pig meat, as well as dairy products, from EU countries into Great Britain for personal use. These restrictions aim to safeguard the health of British livestock, ensure the security of farmers, and protect the UK's food supply.
